· Identified alternative sources of perfumery compounds: OD - 455 ‘Thathimalangatha’ (Cymbopogon parkeri), 60 -70% geraniol OD - 468 (Cymbopogon gidarba), 75 - 80% geranyl acetate
· Developed agro technology for commercially viable medicinal and aromatic plants · Standardized distillation and oil extraction methods of various aromatic plants · Developed post harvest technique for conversion of geranyl acetate in palmarosa oil to geraniol
